The 7 STEPS OF DATA ANALYSIS ADVANTAGE
A quantitative analysis of a dataset is a complex and involved process. When approaching such a project, it is a great advantage to have the process broken down into a series of clear steps that one may understand and follow. Toward that end, StatsWhisperer offers The 7 Steps of Data Analysis Advantage webinar, which illustrates how the entire process of quantitative data analysis may be effectively approached and completed as seven separate, but interconnected steps. The presentation describes how this 7-step formula may be followed in a clear and logical stepwise manner toward producing a legitimate and comprehensive quantitative research study (e.g., a research, capstone, and/or dissertation study).
This presentation will instruct upon how to follow and complete these steps through a sample quantitative study conducted via the SPSS statistical software. This sample study will be instrumental in not only illustrating the overall seven step model, but will also be essential in describing the smaller details and processes encompassed within each overall step. The sample study is meant to serve as a template that attendees may use to generalize to their own research in order to produce their own original excellent quantitative research studies.
At the end of the presentation, attendees will be able to identify the overall seven steps that must be followed in order to produce a quantitative research study. Furthermore, each attendee will have a working knowledge of the smaller processes within each step that must be addressed. Handouts, short quizzes, and references will be provided to aid in the comprehension of the materials presented.
